The early years of your child's life are very important. Early detection of any possible challenges your child may face is vital to maintaining your child's confidence, self-esteem, and enjoyment for learning.
April is Occupational Therapy month. On Monday, April 28th and Wednesday, April 30th, Advanced Physical Therapy of Watertown, PLLC will offer FREE Occupational Therapy screenings for children two to twelve years of age. APTOW's Occupational Therapist Holly Lehman will determine if occupational therapy could have a positive impact on the learning skills and development of your child.
"If you sense that your child has more trouble learning basic skills and doesn't seem to be developing at the same pace as their peers, a fifteen minute screen could help establish the best treatment to get your child back on track," said Ms. Lehman. "Early intervention can help your child to develop to their full potential."
Visit www.APTOW.com/OTscreenings to see a very extensive list of criteria you can use to gauge your child's development. If your child has difficulty with three or more of these criteria, they may be a perfect candidate for occupational therapy.
To schedule your child's free fifteen minute screening with APTOW's Occupational Therapist Holly Lehman, between 3:30 to 6pm on April 28th or 30th, call 315-782-0002. For more information about APTOW's occupational therapy services, visit www.APTOW.com/occupational-therapy.
